We were all blessed to love and have been loved by the spunky, energetic, and giving soul known as Pat, Trisha, Gaga, Gramie, and a host of other names withheld from newspaper print. Pat served at the venture church in Hattisburg Mississippi, where she has lived for the past seven years with her son, Trey Britt, and nephew, Allen Dawson.
Pat also leaves behind a daughter, Beth McGinty, and 5 grandchildren: Shelbie, Baylee, Marlee, Macie and William. Pat’s brother, Larry Dawson, sister-in-law, Linda Dawson, and niece, Lori Enos, all survived her by living in Tennessee, where Pat was also born and raised.
Because Pat enjoyed the richness and joy of loving people in more than one place, we will be holding two memorial services: 1 in Hattiesburg, MS, on Sunday, August 5th, and the other on Tuesday, August 7th, in Covington, TN.
Pat’s lively humor, amazing culinary talents, and stories will live on through all that knew her. She bestowed her heart’s grace, forgiveness, compassion, and unwavering love on everyone around her. She made us all better people.
